Using digital to support face-to-face training

Lying at the crossroads between 100% face-to-face and 100% distance learning, Blended Learning is the hybrid solution that many have been waiting for. No more do you have to choose between two options, instead we have created one that combines the benefits of both. Blended Learning makes it possible to replace part of face-to-face training courses. Replacing them entirely would be a dream; we are not there yet, but the path is already mapped out.

The Blended Learning format, which is also known as “Phygital Learning”, offers many advantages at a time when people are contending with new ways of consuming and learning. These main advantages are:

More choice

Until a few years ago there was nothing to discuss when it came to hwo training was provided, because there was only one format: face-to-face. Recently, Digital Learning has been introduced successfully to our training courses, becoming many companies’ preferred option. The thing is, once both solutions existed, some people wanted to go back to face-to-face training even though, like all training courses, it came with pros and cons. That’s when Blended Learning was invented. This provides a perfect mix of face-to-face training (a series of courses given by teachers or instructors) and practical application (an evaluation and complementary ideas made available via Digital). It represents an ideal combination of theory-based input in a classroom and scope for flexibility in the other part of the programme.

Don’t compromise any more, opt for Blended Learning!

Lower training costs

All companies recognise the value of training employees, but the related costs can dampen enthusiasm.

Costs are expressed more accurately when divided into direct and indirect costs. If you opt for face-to-face training, the potential costs of transport, accommodation and administration must be taken into account. Also, the risk of reduced productivity is not to be overlooked, especially if training is provided during working hours. E-Learning also involves direct design and start-up costs but it cuts down on many indirect costs and the loss of productivity is reduced. The same e-Learning module can be followed by tens, hundreds or even thousands of people, which inevitably divides the overall cost.

Saved time

Mixing face-to-face and distance learning reduces travel time to training sites. It is no longer necessary to spend a considerable amount of time in transportation. Flexibility is the key word in this solution! In addition, devising schedules is an important aspect of training  this is even more true in the  case of distance learning, since last minute readjustment is difficult. Fortunately, this is more flexible because it is easier to train anywhere and anytime thanks to the multi-device supports.

With Blended Learning you can optimise what everyone is running after: time! It saves time both for trainers and learners, making it a real asset for everyone!

Does single-format training still appeal to you?
